Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Independent Sales Representative with a passion for the retail and wholesale gifting industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep interest in bath and wellness products, coupled with established contacts and the ability to significantly elevate The Bath Project’s retail exposure across the UK. This role is perfect for someone who is driven, communicative, and adept at forging strong relationships within the gifting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the retail and wholesale gifting market across the UK.
- Leverage existing contacts and networks to introduce The Bath Project’s product line to potential stockists, including boutique stores, luxury spas, hotels, and online retailers.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the unique benefits and selling points of our products.
- Negotiate sales contracts and terms, ensuring they align with company policies and objectives.
- Provide feedback from the market to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent The Bath Project and expand our brand presence.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including inquiries, follow-ups, and transactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an independent sales representative, preferably in the retail, wholesale, or gifting industry.
- A strong network of contacts within the UK’s gifting sector.
- A passion for bath and wellness products, with an enthusiasm for promoting sustainable and luxury goods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
